Smorgon Steel places an order to roll-out Simatic IT in their Tube Mills
facilitiy in Brisbane, Australia. This will involve the complete Production
Suite with connectivity to SAP.
Cube Technologies received an order from Unilever for a tank farm
mangement system.
Cube Technologies received an order to replace an old Foxboro DCS system with
Siemens hardware and Simatic IT. This will provide Merebank with a totally
integrated control system throughout the whole plant.
IT Soft, with more than 65 MES professionals, acquires shares in Cube
Technologies. This acquisition will give IT Soft presence in South Africa and
Australia to service the fast growing MES markets.
